Astronomik customer service.

Just wanted to report a piece of outstanding customer service from Astronomik.

A while back I bought Ha and Oiii Astronomik filters on IIS, I was happy with the Ha filter but it took me a while to get around to using the Oiii one as I only had a manual FW at the time...anyway when I finally did get to use the oiii filter I got distorted star shapes and reported as much here. I could not get to the bottom of this and sent my images to Astoronomic who instantly agreed to replace it - and the Ha filter for good measure - even though it was far from clear the filter was the issue and they were not new.

What a NICE surprise to see a company that cares so much about the performance of their product.

I have the new filters in operation now - and the first result is here:

I am happy now!

Two thumbs up!

Astronomik will be happy too if they see this.
It's a wierd world we live in, if someone has a bad experience they're very quick to dirt-bag, It's not often that people go out of their way to provide positive feedback, so good on ya John.

One thing I should add to my previous post is that Astronomik claim that their LRGB, Ha, O111, S1 and Clear filters are all parfocal.
They are.
Big, big time saver when imaging.

I can echo the bouquets here, having had a few Astronomik filters of recent times. The latest, direct from them was perfect, timely service and keenly priced. No hesitation in recommending them as well.
