Iss through orion 7/3/2021.

I've just been out to witness the ISS flying right through the centre of Orion, in fact across the three central stars in Orion's belt. Unfortunately with 7/10 cloud cover here in Melbourne I could only catch fleeting glimpses of the crossing, but still quite a sight!
Did anyone else manage a better view tonight I wonder?

Here in central QLD we get a similar pass through Orion tomorrow evening, its going to be clear so I will hopefully get a pic or two through the telescope.

Very bright pass here on the 9th. Camera decided to freeze on me 60 secs before passing in front of Orion, but managed to reboot and get a 30 exposure with a 135mm f4.5 lens.

Oh nicely caught, Rick! Beautiful. I wonder if those satellite trails were the latest Starlinks because they were deployed around the same time.
