Carina Nebula in Ha

Last photo I've taken. It is a 16 panel mosaic on the Carina Nebula in Ha, shot from within the Adelaide suburbs. Each panel has approx. 3.5hrs worth of 10 min subs. Processed in PI.

GSO 8" RC
Atik One 6.0 mono
Astronomik Ha 6nm Filter

16 panels? Wow! Maximum effort. Well done. It looks very good.
Do you have a high res somewhere?

Yes 16 panels. Due to the FOV from the RC scope with a 0.75x focal reducer, I needed 16 slightly overlapping subs to stitch together to form the final mosaic. I used the mosaic tool in Sequence Generator Pro and took several months to complete.

I do have a high res version! I'll send you a link privately.

That's a lot of panels. Very seamless result so the stitch has been done very well.

Greg.
