Lagoon Nebula

Hi All,
The Lagoon really comes out with SHO! Really reminds me of a beautiful rockpool on the reef.

Taken with Esprit 100, ASI 183 MC and 3.5nm Antlia SHO filters. Ha and Oiii were recoloured to Hubble palate colours. 15 X 300 Sec each SHO.

Very pleased to get this with an entry level OSC. Stacked and processed in Affinity. Darks, Bias and artificial Flats.

A great result Chris, lots of nice colour gradients and good depth.

Bit 'hot' in the middle, perhaps muck around with the stretch might help.

Next time rotate the camera 90 degrees!

Very well done

Very different interpretation of the same target.
Did you use selective color layers?
I found that very powerful to control the colors.

Great shot Chris, I reckon you can get more out of this, your data looks good.
