NGC3372 eta Carina fort time using a UHC filter

I wasn’t prepared for last night thinking it was going to be cloudy like every other day, so I just took out the evolution mount and manage to get some time in before the clouds rolled in. Also this was the first time using a UHC filter.

I can’t believe how much of an improvement the UHC filter has done for me.

Good effort there, Wayne and great progress! As your last effort showed, there's a lot of nebulosity sitting in this region. You've got a good core exposed here, now keep adding more subs to this to bring that nebula out

Well done Wayne.

Stars are a bit wonky in the corners, someone will know why.

Maybe focus is a little out, only guessing.

Good effort

Thanks guys for the encouragement.

Peter - Yes the stars are oval shaped very bad in the corners and outer part of the field. I still cant manage to get the back focus right with the reducer... it is doing my head in.
