For Sale is a Skywatcher BKP250/1200 Newtonian i have owned from new since 2014.
The 3 main upgrades i have made to the scope are changing the secondary mirror to a slightly larger one, installing a low-profile dual focuser and changed the vixen-style dovetail with a 15" losmandy-style wide plate. I have also flocked the scope too.
The scope has served me very well over the years but I've upgraded and need the space. I have mostly used it for planetary astrophotography (see pics of the latest i took from a few weeks ago).
There are some scuffs and marks from use over the years but the mirrors are in good condition, albeit layered with some dust that does not diminish their function.
Comes with the old focuser, original box and finder scope.
I would prefer local pick-up. I'll even meet you half way. Sending this through post would be pretty costly and cumbersome.
