Rare Iapetus transit

I missed the shadow transit but I did get a ring transit with Iapetus. It's just barely visible as a dot on the rings to the right. I also made a video time lapse on Astrobin.

Skywatcher 12" F5 Newtonian, Svbony SV305.

Excellent work, that animation is awe inspiring, it makes me feel like I'm on approach to Saturn, looking out of my capsule window.

Thanks Anthony. It's still 11pm before Saturn gets above 60 degrees here. And I like to only shoot above 60 if I can.

Kevin, i am really still amazed at/about how you managed to put that scope 12" on NEQ6 mount, even with 10" on AZ-EQ6/EQ6RPro people aren't recommending.
