Early morning Saturn

Late night Saturn.

Skywatcher 300PDS 12" F5 Newtonian, Svbony SV305, Svbony barlow, modified NEQ6 Pro.

Captured in Sharpcap, stacked in AS!3, levels in PS.

Weather is turning freezing. Don't think I'll get out of bed for a while now!

Kevin,
That’s a super image from your big rig
I assume your EQ6 is pier mounted with that big OTA on top
Freezing in Mackay Northern QLD ??
Sydney’s currently 10 degrees and 5 degrees overnight , that’s pretty cold
Freezing is Canberra , Southern tablelands , western slopes and Alpine regions, zero and below when your teeth chatter and your garden hose snaps trying to
unwind it
But I know what you mean, the whole eastern part of the country is getting hit by cold air masses for the next few days
Cheers
Martin

Hi Martin, the NEQ6 is still tripod mounted, but it's got better bearings, belt mod and zero backlash mod.

The temps didn't get as cold as I though it would. So just a bit chilly. I thought we might get frost, but we didn't. The last time was in 2007. Back to warmer weather for the next few days anyway.
