Lagoon to M20

hi all,

very quick data set - about 40 mins and 20 mins.

First one is really a HaGBO and then a more traditional straight RGB from Monday night - plenty of moon around.

130mm apo @f5.53 and the asi zwo 6200MM

Both look good Russel but being an RGB preferrer, the second appeals more.
What about blending the Ha with the RGB?

thanks George i was trying to maintain the reflection nebula but will definitely come back and give the RGB a boost.

Good stuff Russ. The first one has great depth for such a short capture but the natural look of the second one with the nice blues gives more balance.
Looking forward to seeing the blend too.

Very nice Russ.

We are using a similar setup. F5.53 is a good F ratio for imaging.

thanks Greg i'm slowly working through plenty of gremlins with the setup but slowly making progress - yes fairly happy at f5.53 a bit slower than your system - I actually had a similarly framed version to yours and it is a it too tight with the lagoon and the trifid really hugging the outer edges so i think your slightly wider field is useful these celestial pairings!
