Hi everyone,
First item for sale is my beloved
Celestron C9.25 SCT with fastar OTA, taken off a celestron evolution 925. Included with the scope are:
- Losmandy style dovetail (wide CGE dovetail bar) a $125 addition
- JMI motofocus (celestron branded) which works very well, a $180 addition
- The
Celestron F6.3 reducer/corrector a $200 addition (not pictured but I will add more pics later)
- Bobs knobs fitted on the secondary. Collimation is a breeze.....not that you need to collimate it often it keeps collimation really well!
- 2 inch GSO branded SCT visual back
All of the above
yours for only $1500 I do not prefer to post my beloved scope since I don't have the original box. I got this item 2nd hand. I'm willing to deliver to Sydney and surrounds (no more than 100 kms) free of charge
(GSO di-electric diagonal is not included in the sale)
Second item is my trusty
Skywatcher NEQ6 pro mount SOLD with the tripod. (
https://skywatcheraustralia.com.au/p...-steel-tripod/) This is rated upto 20KG and performs flawlessly. It has been to bintel recently for a service (it really didn't need one but had been in storage for more than a year and I thought a re-greasing etc. would be good). No problems found by bintel.
Yours for $1100 SOLD I DO have the original boxes for this mount and am ok to post. But would prefer pickup OR I can drop off inside Sydney or under 100 kms from Sydney free of charge.
I will also throw in the Synscan USB adaptor free of charge
Third item is the guidescope that could
the
Skywatcher evoguide 50ED with ZWO ASI290mm mini guide camera. It's a 50mm aperture 250mm F5 little scope with
ED glass!! But I don't have the field flattener for it and the field curvature is pretty bad so I don't use it for astrophotography.
I mostly use it for polar alignment (much overkill
)
It's attached to the OTA with a Losmandy adaptor (Losmandy DVA Dovetail Plate Adapter) worth $80. i'll include it in the sale
$600 posted for this little package
Reason for selling is i'm in the market for a 10 inch goto dob to suite my future plans for this amazing hobby. I'm mostly a visual astronomer and dabble in a little EEA and i've found that travelling out of the city and out of the light pollution dome gives you incredible views. As you can imagine my current setup is not very portable. And if, like me, you have dimwitted neighbors who like to keep their very bright ornamental LED lights on all year around.......EVEN after you asked them politely and repeatedly to turn them off!!
then it's no use having the best telescope in the world you're better off just browsing astrobin
Anyway thanks for looking
