NGC55 LRGB Ha Ver4 The Blue Whale galaxy

Hey Mike, I just keep around in circles, and I think I'm done

Hope this last attempt is OK and you don't jump behind the sofa!

And for taking an interest, we need your critique and honesty.

Oh, I think my image resembles a blue whale more than a string of pearls...

Pkay,
Call it what you will, this is a nice result- should be both pleased and relieved.
Well done.

Peter,
That’s a fine image of NGC55 , one of your best
Colour is spot on and you’ve exposed a lot of detail , and yes it does have a pinkish area with small stars from the core and along the arms ( hence the term String of Pearls )
Your background Star field is excellent and nice to see you have controlled some black clipping in earlier images
A big thumbs up
Well done !!!
M.

Well Pete, Im really glad you have taken my input in the correct spirit, all honest feedback only, to try and help you critique your own work ....and voila! See? Much better. I am only looking at it on my crappy Samsung mob phone, I'll have a better look when I'm on desktop monitor but this looks to be much better indeed, good on you for persevering

Great job

Mike

Mike for persevering with me. I can still do stuff like sharpening the small galaxies but time to move on.
I have a mountain of data to get through.
Incidentally, it was from a post of yours that had a small list of galaxies, I have been working my way through them.

Excellent image Peter.

Worth going through a couple of renditions for this result.

Hi Pete.
All about learning new processing techniques and trying to take on board advice. And then look at what others have achieved and realise your barely in the ballpark!
