Cleaning out a few things. First off:
RoboFocus is a great, cost effective, way to implement auto focus for imaging or a fine control for focusing during visual observations.
The package includes:
* 2 x aluminium mounting brackets (one new, one slightly bent but is quite useable)
* Serial cable for connecting to computer
* RoboFocus control unit
* RoboFocus stepper motor
* 9 pin 'D' cable for connecting to RoboFocus stepper motor
Current software can be downloaded from
http://www.homedome.com/downloads.htm
The manual can be found here:
http://www.robofocus.com/documents/robofocusins31.pdf
The RoboFocus motor can mount on most focusers by removing the existing knob and securing the stepper motor. The boss on this motor has an ID of 8mm.
The connection to the computer is via a serial cable so you will need to purchase a serial-to-USB adapter if your PC does not have a serial port
These units are currently listed on the RoboFocus web site for USD489.
Asking AUD295 plus post and packaging (and Paypal fees if used).

Chris
