Astronomics gives cloudy night members a discount on purchases. They are secretive about the size of the discount and information on the website suggests that you pay the price and then get the discount.
I normally purchase in the US from Agena (they have been excellent), but was thinking about getting a couple of TV eyepieces from Astronomics. Price before discount is the same on both sites. Both have stock.
Any experience of the CN discount and purchasing from Astronomics in general?
I have bought on occasion from Astronomics. You pay in full, provide your CN display name mentioning you are on CN and you get a refund in about 24 hours (on PayPal for me).
Last item I ordered was a 5" refractor for $1,649 and got a refund of $41.22 = 2.50% discount. I think the discount depends on margins on items but anyway, in my case it was 2.50%
