Went birding today

My daughter had a party at a suburban parkland. Instead of dropping her off, then having to go back and get her, I took my camera and spent a couple of hours walking around, over rivers, through forest and parklands. Here are a few from today.

Those are very nice shots. You would have to be happy with that butcher bird shot in particular. I've recently upgraded from a 400D to a 90D and have taken more good bird photos in a month than I did in the last decade (will post some soon). However I've found that the better camera still doesn't nail them to the perch so you can photograph them. Getting a nice action shot like that is not easy and takes patience, preparation and expertise. So congratulations and please post some more.

BTW I always like to know the equipment and settings.

Amazing sharp photos.
That butcher bird has got a tiny lizard in its mouth.
I feel sorry for the lizard.
