A few quick Hyperstar shots

Been hanging out for some better weather but I managed to get a few quick and nasty shots with the Hyperstar / edge800 & asi294mc pro over 2 half nights this last week in amongst some high cloud.
Got some issues with tilt and/or collimation of the Hyperstar so had to do a hefty crop but beggars can’t be choosers till I have the time to sort it out.

Orion & running man with Optolong UHC
HORSEHEAD and flame with Lextreme
Rosette with Lextreme

Livestacked and stretched with the ASIAIR pro and crop / levels in ps express. The plan is to keep saving the subs and once I have some decent data do some proper post processing in dss and startools but it’s nice to get some results along the way even if they aren’t super.

Hopefully going to use the same setup for Leonard if the clouds play nice.

Thanks for looking!

Nice collection of shots David. Is there a flip function in ASIAIR live stack? I had to view them in a mirror. 😄

Lol yeah that figures since it’s with the Hyperstar there’s one less mirror reflection in the sct so everything’s flipped. Not sure there’s a flip in the livestock but I prob could’ve spent the extra 5sec flipping it in ps

Just out of interest. What sub length and total integration time for these?

Thanks John! I was happy how they shaped up. The live stack is really nice for some immediate results but grabs every single sub (even the bad ones) and unfortunately my RA was sooo excited to be under the stars again it was jumping for joy!

Chris- average integration was about 60-90min and 2-3min subs. Pushing it pretty hard for a B7 suburban location under about 80% moon but the l-extreme sure helped

Thanks David. That's pretty cool for such short integration. I'm sorely tempted by this!!
