In another week Leonard will start to be visible in the Southern Hemisphere, near Venus.
On the 21st at 8pm it will form an equilateral triangle with Venus and Saturn....
Currently it is between Alpha Serpens and Kappa Ophiuchus

Paul,
I use Cartes du Ciel (CdC) with EQMod to control my HEQ5 and NEQ6 mounts.
CdC has the orbit of all the comets in its database.
Just search on comet Leonard and it will show you the position on the maps.
You can then slew to the comet position using EQMod.

CdC can also interface with phd2 if you wanted to photograph it too.

Paul, If like me, you don't have EQMod input the co-ordinates in the user objects menu for the time you will observe. I like my EQ6 but one of its limitations is only 25 objects in this menu - I have a long list of double stars I observe.
