26th July, 8.05am.

Region 2846 is similar to yesterday, although I vaguely see other nearby detail.

Region 2747 has just the one, lonely small/medium spot. I had to go looking for this one. It did not jump out at me. (Using solar projection).

28th July, 7.55am.

I could not see any Sunspots today when using solar projection with my 81mm Vixen.

On the current SDO image, I could see 3 faint, tiny spots remining in Region 2846.

3rd August, 8.05am. A new group (2850) has appeared on the western side of the Sun. With solar projection, it looks like 2 medium, 1 small and 2 tiny spots.

Looking at the SDO image, each of those medium spots are instead: twin, small spots.

Region 2850 is approaching the Western Limb. One medium and 2 small/tiny spots were visible. It is all becoming fuzzy and difficult to see properly.

Back to nothing visible today.

On the SDO image, a very tiny spot is the visible remnant of Region 2850.

No spots again visible with solar projection.

Looking at the SDO image, there are a few tiny spots at the center, in the new Region 2851.

10th August, 7.40am. No spots, but a large area of faculae is seen at a surprising-far distance from the Eastern Limb.

August 11th, 8.00am. No spots again. The large area of faculae is seen is seen with more difficult than yesterday.

Today, I used my 100mm Tak for solar projection. I like to vary the telescopes occasionally to prevent mold on the lens.

17th August, 8.25am: Region 2857 appears as a large and a medium spot today, with my 80mm scope and solar projection.

However, the SDO image shows it be more detailed than that.

18th Aug, 8.30am. One diffuse looking, medium spot that almost eluded detection is all I observed.
