Vega SN

Couldn't help but have a go at this one after seeing Robert T image.

Ended up with around 13 hours with little to no moon over 4 nights

Taken with esprit 80 and zwo 294 OSC .

104x 300 sec subs with optilong extreme filter
40 x 300 sec darks
Stacked with DSS , Gimp and touched up in lightroom

Quite happy with the outcome

Thanks Ray and Peter . For some reason my images always come out twice as bright in red when I download to here. I was quite happy the outcome. Just love this section of space . Looks cool as in my books. Thanks to Robert T from deep space got his cordinates from his astrobin site .

Check the colour space difference between your browser and photo editing application of choice. E.g. if you're editing in a wide colour space, when you shrink to say sRGB, things "pop" a little more.

Amazing image, regardless. I love this object

Thanks all . Peter this target can be located at the follow coordinates

8h 30' 34"
-45° 57' 18"
These are what I used to take this image. Starting to get a bit low in the sky now though . But still worth a go
