T adapter with SCT and eos

Hi all,
I have eos 60d with standard length celestron T mount and eos adapter. I also have the variable T adapter(15mm and 30mm) which goes on my DSI II. Looking at them today I found that they are about the same length and interchangeable as well with same threads.

By using the 15 or 30mm spacers with my eos, all that does is try and achieve focus. Is that correct? I have not tried my eos on my 8 sct yet.

Also I have a f6.3 reducer. If by changing the spacing, does anyone know what the F number will be with the different spacers on the 6.3.

Regards
Kon
