Connecting to a pc

Hi All when you connect your Celestron Evaluation to a computer ,can you go direct from the mount to the P.C or you have to through the handbox

It isn't possible to connect by cable directly to the mount. A cabled connection must be made through the handset.

It is possible to do firmware updates via WiFi connection from the mount to a computer, using Celestron's firmware update program, CFM. See https://www.nexstarsite.com/OddsNEnd...gradeHowTo.htm

Apparently Celestron's remote control program (CPWI) also connects via Wi-Fi, but I haven't used it yet. See https://nexstarsite.com/PCControl/CPWI.htm

Hi Andrew I though as much ,I am try to I am trying to the scope and astroberry all working together I can get the scope to move but the icon on the map doesn't move ,I will keep trying I will crack it soon again thanks
