Noise comparison of 20Da and 5D

There are some noise comparisons of Canon 20Da and 5D on Hutechs site.

Canon must be using the ultra pure Silicon on their new 5D sensor.Does anyone know for sure.

Dont know Bert,

I wish I could read Japanese.

Wouldn't information regarding test results be a little bias coming from Hutech considering they wouldn't like the fact that the 20DA is available without having to do their modification.

I think they are simply quoting Japanese Astronomy magazine tests. The 20Da has the same sensor as the 20D.I think they are just indicating the 5D has less noise than the 20D and is even better than the 1DsMarkII.
I think Hutech are quite reputable.I have never seen them overstate anything.
I could not believe it at first but one night changed the LPR filter for the Nebula filter on the 300mm lens and did not refocus.Same object and the focus was still the same ie spot on.So their filters are optically identical,or at least this pair.
