Me and the missus, she doesn't really 'get' astronomy but she still likes to check out the planets and brighter DSOs. (And she puts up with all my motorbikes, telescopes and various other hobbies )
been around for a good 6 months now and have been getting out to ASV's dark site a bit so thought I would post up a head shot to encourage people to come and say hello if they see me.
And thanks for all the great advice and strategic guidance I've received on all my astro acquisitions so far.
This is me at the Cathedrals near Taggerty, Victoria prior to the ascent. Clear skies.
Hi All, I have been hanging around the forums for around a year, I have loved looking at the stars since my parents bought me a small cheap tasco telescope for my 8th birthday back in 1985. I am married with 3 children, sebastian who is 6, Nicole who is 8 and isaac who is 12, i have been married to my wife for 13 years, I started dating her when i was 17 years old.
I live 12kms from the little sleepy town of cobargo, on a 100 acre property.
I cant think of anything more relaxing than watching the stars with a hot cup of coffee and Vangelis playing in the back ground.
Here is a pic of me and my daughter (who is bunny earring me)

HI all, and a Merry Christmas season from NZ. I don't post here often -don't even have an avatar - but I do lurk a fair bit in the background. Anyway, this is one of the kiwi faces to put a name to.
If you've watched the tv series Ashes to Ashes you'll "get" this picture...if not, well I don't normally frown like this, I'm usually smiling a lot more!
Have a great festive season, and I hope the goodies roll in for you, or rather get carried in, if it happens to be a new scope that Mr Clause is bringing you!
