I haven't got a picture of the LX200R 12", but I think everyone has a fair idea of what they look like.
Heres one of my Celestron C8, she is 30 years old and still performs very well, good for keeping the old skills sharp no GOTO here.

cheers

Smile It's on the site already

From your 2005 SPSP report...

One small point - it isn't a SkyScan as they hadn't been released when I bought this one. Don't need no steenkin' goto anyway!

May as well add to this!

JMI NGT12.5 with OMI optics and a Protostar secondary. SO a 12.5" f/5.1 Newtonian.

Images here:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/johnkaz...7594183210993/

The best part about the scope is the low eyepiece height, extreme portability and ultra high quality optics which I paid a premium to OMI for with the following specs: PV Wave .13, RMS 0.17 and a Strehl Ratio of 0.99 http://www.opticalmechanics.com/12-40-050605.htm which make the optics something like 1/18 wave or better. The Secondary is 1/20 wave with Inferogram from Protostar.

Currently working on way to now effectively cool the mirror!

This is my 12" Light Bridge with Argo Navis and kit.

The next job is to attach a pole to the mount that will hold the Argo Navis at waist height.

Hi there, after a nice lunch and some cleansing ales with friends one afternoon, we decided to repaint and clean up the 10" Dob. Not sure about the results yet, but it is only a coat of paint. The womenfolk present had a bit to do with the star stencilling on tht tube....
Paint is a hammerfinish bermuda blue, i think.

Also here is the perv on Fraser Island lunchtime weapon of choice, the good old 8" dob with high tech counterbalance system

Cheers,
Steve.
