I have to say, I'm still a huge fan of TV plossls; there is just something about the view through them that looks a little bit higher-def. than anything else that I have used. I have collected the 32, 20, 15 and 11 TV plossls and a 24 Pan and a TV 2.5x powermate round out my A-team.
I also have a 7mm William Optics UWAN - however, despite being a great eyepiece, I seem to prefer a slightly narrower field of view than 80 deg. (am I alone on this?). I'm wondering if a 6 or 8 Radian might be the way to go instead...

Welcome Jatz, I too prefer narrower eps, most of mine are in the 65-72 range. you've broken the posting ice, no excuse now not to post about your scope etc.

Depends on the scope. In my old 12" f5 I used a 24 Pan that only gave me 62.5x more than any other EP. In my 20" f5 the 17 Ethos at 150x is the go. Bigger aperture allows more power. I regularly use a 10mm giving 254x and even push it to 317x with the 8mm Ethos, but that needs pretty good conditions. In the 12", those sort of powers were nearly unthinkable, 150x was only very rarely possible.
That said the short while I had the 17 Ethos while I still had the 12", it was a really nice combo at 88x.
Two or three eyepiece families in the one case, always accompanied by a rechargeable dehumidifier. You can play where's Wally and try to figure out what's there
I had one of these Meade research grade 20mm's years ago ( orthoscopic x Erfel design ? ) and foolishly let it go as a freeby with a sold scope , Flash and I am still kicking myself , great eyepiece it was , especially in my 10 inch f10 newt , perfect 125x for jupiter.
If that is a 2" eyepiece Col then it must be HUGE !!!

I like the FOV of the ES 82 line which is very handy using my dob. I use the 6.7mm 82 ES for planetary and moon viewing. I also picked up a 100 degree 14mm which is a pretty crazy EP to look through and is great on galaxies and neb. I also really enjoy my 10mm Delos on star clusters. I've just invested in a Tele Vue barlow for exceptionally good nights. I'll use this with my Delos. I also have a heap of plossls and superviews that don't get a place in my pelican case.
I just finished my new, larger case that lets me hold all of my eyepieces in one place. It's a Storm iM3300. I put 5 red led's in the lid that turn on automatically when I open it up. I found that really useful in my past cases when changing eyepieces or filters. Foam is from My Case Builder.
I agree with Bob , I find my 14mm Radian in my 127mm f8 at 71x the best all round for most objects .
