opticstar guider

does anyone use the opticstar 130m guide camera here?- john

Looks like it would work to me... In america it would have to be cheaper to buy an Orion SSAG (star shoot auto guider) wouldnt it? and if so, that would probably be the better option.. having the guide port built into the camera frees up one more usb port... and i would imagine, lower the load on the pc...

The Opticstar 130m is cooled, which may help a little...

I've not used one, but the system looks like it would be function to me...

Hi John - I have one and it works ok. I don't like the camera much though.
