Good evening

Hey, Good Evening everybody. I am new in the forum. But I am not new to the sky. For last 32 years I have bees observing the sky. Fins my details in http://cosmolabe.tripod.com
http://astrolabe2009.tripod.com http://astronomyg.ning,com
Now i am with you. From my place I cannot see Magallenic clouds? . Can you see the URSA MAJOR from Australia?
See in my websites the pictures of Astrolabes. I have made them myself in stain less steel.
We have to share a lot of things. Sky is the limit.
Thank you

Hi Abdul, to IIS, mate.

What a fantastic Astrolabe you've made! And from stainless steel! Would have taken some time to cut! Really beautiful work, . How does it actually work? Does it use gears you cut yourself?

No, we cannot see Ursa Major, . But the two Magellanic Clouds are beautiful in our Southern sky, , but you need to be in a dark site to see them with you naked eye. Otherwise binoculars.

Tell me, the big observatory you can see in the background, what telescope is housed in it? Can your club use it?

Cheers,

Mental.
