Celestron HCUPDATE.EXE software

Does anyone have a functioning copy of the Celestron HCUPDATE.EX software that they could email to me?

It's for updating version 4 Handcontroller as the Celestron Firmware Manager Software on the Celestron website is for V5 handsets & does not work on the V4 handcontroller...

I had a functioning HCUPDATE program but, it stopped functioning for some bizarre reason & I cannot for the life of me find it on the Celestron website anymore & the one copy I located comes up with a runtime error... which is kinda odd too...

I'm using a WIN10 loaded laptop... it worked fine on win10 previously but, it's possible some updates to Win10 corrupted something...

Let me know if you can help & I'll forward you my email address or a dropbox link, whichever works best

Cheers

I had it, from memory in the current win10 you have to go in and force it to run in compatibility mode for an earlier Windows version or it won't work.

If you are really stuck I may have saved it somewhere and I can have a dig tomorrow. I needed it to update a V4 controller and its associated mount to flash the GPS firmware to get it going after the GPS date rollover.

All good. Nothing wrong with the older ones, good to be able to keep them going. After I wrangled enough bits to update my ten year old CPC925, it works perfectly.
