strange typing symbol

Hi Guys, just a strange thing happen when I typed in my email address on a different computer, it asked for my email address and i typed leonxxxxxx@soandso.com

However when I came to the @ bit it typed in this symbol instead " I had just bought a new keyboard and figured there must be something wrong with however it did the same on an other keyboard as well.

Never seen that before so any suggestions please of what may be wrong here, or has anyone seen this before.

I have been thru it Leon ..just one more thing to build your character.

Check the keyboard setting. I think that might be set to English/UK setting. Change it to English/USA
