First light with ASI 183MM

Using the SS SM60/ ED80/ BF15 combo.

Resolution and performance look good - 19 fps at full frame (5496 x 3672) and an impressive 40 fps at an ROI similar to the ASI 178 (3000 x 2080)

Using FireCapture V2.6x64.
Quiet sun with small proms. Processed in AS!3, Registax6, PSP7.

No Newton Rings!!

So far so good.

Very nice Ken!
I have for a while been considering the QHY variant of this one for an 85mm & 135mm lens

Yeah,
It actual performs straight out the box.

I think the USB3, MSI i7, 16Gb RAM, the 1 Tb SSD drive and the ASI 183 will work well together!

The 26 sec SER file collected 495 frames, 9.8 Gb

Took 13.7 mins to process in AS3!, and the resulting "Full frame" image was 38Mb.
