PixInsight update error message

Hello

When I tried to update PI from the Resources Menu I get the following error message:

https://pixinsight.com/update-eph/1.8.8-8/ Network error: Failed to connect to pixinsight.com port 443: Timed out

This is on a Win10 Pro 64 PC with all the MS updates and patches applied.

Has anyone else encountered this error and successfully fixed it?

Thanks

Dennis

EDIT:
I checked and the above entries are already in my Update Repositories and I am logged into my Account.

Happened to me last night same OS. It was a very large file in the latest update package that timed out. Try again at a different time when their server is not so busy and it should eventually make it through.

Thanks Marc, I just joined the PI Forum but I am now required to wait for 24 hours for approval to post to make sure that I am not some nefarious person with malicious intent....

I did disable TLS 1.2 etc. in Internet Options Dialogue in Win 10 then ran the update again and received a message saying that no updates were available.

I then re-enabled the TLS settings and ran the PI update again but then got the same original 443 timeout error message.

Cheers

It's been a problem for me for the past 36 hrs at least too. Only very occasionally it worked (nothing to update) but most of the time it times out.

Been trying to do a little debugging :-

Traceroute today is a little faster than yesterday telnetting to that IP at port 443, it is responding at least.

Maybe update includes some photometric/astrometric databases for PCC? They're pretty big and servers seem quite variable night to night as to download speeds.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I still haven't received my clearance to post on the PI Forums yet, after more than 24 hours since registering.

Cheers
