Weird forum response - hack?

Been trying to log in on both mobile and home PC the last hour or so. It had logged me out on Mobile and PC. Reset password - each time telling me I had tried 5 times and I was now locked out for 15 min. Finally got a new password sent to email - I copy it and paste it in the browser and what was an 8 character auto-generated password pasted in as a 100 character password.

I then typed it in manually, and it worked and I changed my password.

Anyone else witness something odd like this today? Known intrusion attempt?

Clearly you need a new phone and a new computer.

Hey I've been relatively well behaved. Relatively.

But the theory of relativity is complex when too massive masses are squared...

Did you try turning it off and on again?

I vaguely recall having a similar probem a couple of years ago ... trying to enter a website password where each key press resulted in multiple symbols but everything else worked fine - re-booting fixed it, or perhaps the timing was merely coincidence.

I guess the snooping software has a bug?

Oh, and how you treat your relatives has nothing to do with it.

I know, because Lewis was in Hut 7 with JADE, when Sidney Abramson walked in at the Christmas party.

Cool

You live too close to Tidbinbilla to be careless with your terminology in these posts..............

Australian police have just been granted the power to hack into your phone or laptop, collect, delete, or edit your information, take over your social media accounts, and monitor all of your communications – without the need for a warrant.

These terrifying new powers were voted in as part of the Identify and Disrupt Bill 2020, an amendment to the Surveillance Legislation. Both Labor and the Liberals voted in favour of the new changes.

PS Ask yourself why the black Ford Explorer has been parked 150m down your street this last week...........
