RCOS 12.5 inch Carbon Fibre Tube

A genuine 12.5in RCOS scope of nominal FL of 2850mm.
With these scopes the only moving part is the secondary mirror on a linear stepper motor. It has 3 medical grade temperature sensors, one on a spider arm for ambient temp, one on the back of the primary & one on the rear of the secondary. Three fans on the backplate cool the primary to the set temp above ambient and a heater on the secondary keeps it above dewpoint if required.
Collimation is done in daylight with a Takahashi Collimation Scope, perfect collimation & simplicity itself.
The following gear is included.
RCOS Field Flattener.
Takahashi Collimation Scope with adapter.
A screwed set of AstroPhysics 2.7"extension tubes with a Precise Parts adapter for the correct backfocus for SBIG STL cameras.
Custom foam lined transport case it came from the US in.
SBIG STL 6303E camera with either 5 or 7 position filter wheel & Astronomic filters.
I have had this scope mounted in my observatory for years & it has performed faultlessly. It has been too heavy for me to lift for years now. I will only sell the basic outfit complete. If the camera not wanted there won't be much off the price. These quality scopes are no longer made of course.
Asking $18K
