Sun on Jan 10th 2022

Jan 10th. A very hot day today (34°C) but I managed a couple of images of the Sun at Halpha wavelength. Both single exposures with a Canon 550d camera attached to a Lunt 100 Ha scope. First pic shows the southern hemisphere active regions (numbered). The second pic shows prominences along the Sun's eastern limb. Thanks for viewing.

Good captures of the Sun John. With this fickle weather we need to grab what we can when we can. Thanks for posting.
