meteor - 0006hrs Friday 18 November 2011

Did anyone else see the meteor in the vicinity of orion (moving towards western horizon) about 0006hrs Friday 18 November 2011 as seen from Melbourne.

About 1 degree in size, yellow browny colour.

Seeing as it was still Thursday here in Queensland But no as you are a bit further South than me

You never have a camera pointed at the sky at the right time do you ...? <sigh>
Nice to see when they happen for sure.

Was out with the 80mm last night and a tiny wee one flicked through the FOV while I was perusing Jupiter. Gets your attention ..
