Hang in there Peter.
It is a long road, but gets easier with time.

It is odd isn't it, I actually found the post treatment period when I was 'better' harder going than the chemo and radio treatment itself ( I know that sounds nuts).

This thread prompted me to go in for a skin check yesterday too, that I had been putting off. They found three pre-cancerous sites and removed them, so I am glad I went!

Hope you are traveling the journey okay, the road can feel long, but it is good news when it is a long journey!

Good to hear jjj,

See, I told you so, that refraining from bad habits and giving up smoking works.

Cheers

I'm glad you did go in. Nip it in the bud, it's the only way.
Stay well.

A year ago, this month I watched by beautiful sister pass away in front me after a long battle with cancer. I urge all to undergo any checks possible!

Cheers Petra d.

what a horrible time that was for you Petra. I hope time is easing your pain. xo

And the biggest message of all is to follow your Doctors orders. They are the ones who's knowledge is based on decades of research and experience. Don't listen to the promises that the quacks and snake oil merchants tell you. Homoeopathy and natural remedies have no place in the fight against cancer. The truth is that it's a long hard road to recovery, there is no easy way to do it. If I had my way any unqualified person who says they can cure cancer should be made accountable for their actions with harsh penalties in place if the person they are treating dies.
