Ah, yes, daylight saving. i watched it live this am, then switched telly on, and Sunrise were showing it 'live' just before 9am.

Well, Discovery is off to a museum after this mission, 2 more to go.

STS-134 Endeavour 19th April 23:48 GMT (almost 30 years to-the-day after the first ever Shuttle launch, Columbia, on 12/04/1981)

I got a phone call to watch the Shuttle Launch and it was already in space for over half an hour

Don't you just get Sydney's show delayed by an hour during DST?

Yes, so there 9am was our 8am, so the launch was done and dusted by the time it made it to TV up here.

Luckily I watched it live anyway.

I always did say I wasn't a morning person. And these guys want me to go see the solar eclipse in Cairns at goodness knows what hour of the morning.. heaven help the poor observers when I'm around.

I was driving along at around 100kmh in a line of traffic chuckling to myself
at the above situation and obviously not concentrating when the car in front decided to stop
I nearly ran up his rear end
Gosh I still get a chuckle out of Suzy's Fou Par

T'was a great launch. I was in Melbourne with a work colleague and we watched it on the laptop over breakfast - he was very impressed!
