Ironic though - a man with effectively unlimited means, wants to be forever young, and dies at age 50, looking like a 70 years old.
Don't mess with mother nature. There are lessons for all of us in MJ.

I was one of his lighting riggers and stage crew on his History tour down
here during the mid 90's. I remember standing on stage in sydney as all
the head production staff's lil children went on stage for his rendition of
We Are The World. With all the mums watching and smiling with glee I
leant over to one and said... Amazing stuff eh', but would you let lil
johnny go back to the ranch?. He had initially canceled that tour due
to accusations being level against him. Until Danty threatened to sue him.
MJ was already losing money.

I remember him as quite a sickly man, very shinny with his clothes just hanging
off him. If anyone saw that tour I played one of the skeleton dudes. You
had to where this skeleton suit with this contraption that had another two
skeletons attached to it, one on your left and one on your right. they moved
in sync with your body movements... so if you lifted your leg the other two
would do the same... must admit it was funny stuff.

An inspirational start I guess, but no great loss by the time of his death.
Hey maybe the old AAA pass is worth something now

On another note, yes very sadden to hear my all time childhood crush
Farah Fawcett had passed away.

regards,CS

As someone at work said to me, becoming famous while so young must have been a great strain. He didn't have the chance to develop as a person before being plunged into the gold-fish bowl. He never had the chance to live a normal life. Perhaps this explains some of his eccentric behaviour.

I feel sorry that the world lost the MJ of the early 70s.

A very sad time and the end of an era.
He was a brilliant singer/ songwriter/performer with generations growing up on his music.
Also sad new of the loss of Farah Fawcett, she was my (and I think every boys) childhood babe.

Daniel.
