John this big farmer you refer to hardy gives recognition to the wonderful things they do and is something only fools use who are ignorant of all that the drug supply industry does...like firstly assisting scientific research..but then science would seem the enemy of the alternative cult given science demands facts evidence and all sorts of stuff the alternative cult finds un necessary burdensome and direct inhibition to their lets make it up as we go along world..given that big farmer is a multi billion dollar industry consisting of many companies and organisations it must surely have issues that are far from perfect one could expect...humans are involved money is involved so it would be entirely naive to think that within all the folk employed or invested we wont find something that just should not be...however and this is the point...these companies and organisations are staffed by real doctors, real chemists, real micro biologists, real molecular biologists..and by real I do mean degree holding professionals ....in fact I bet many more branches of science are represented in the work force of big farmer...tell me just how do you explain that away? Do you think all these professionals are just con men? Like what are they employed for and what do they do? And when you are done please explain why they do all the testing and just how they convince the Government to approve what ever it is they wish to sell...then tell me why given the protection this system gives to the public should we abandon any of it to let unqualified folk con stupid people to buying say cancer treatment on the net at $29-95 a bottle? Or do you think some guy who invented a cancer cure in a matter of weeks has more credibility than say researchers who have spent their adult lives working on the problem?
Moreover certainly you can point to problems with the side effects of legitimate drugs but you do realise these negative side effects are known, because they found them out by testing together with appropriate dose levels...and these side effects are fully explained to the patient..this does not happen with alternative stuff does it..no of course not you only get cries that elevate snake oil to some unrealistic magical level ... tell me of the caveats you received with your black stuff ...

And again finding that bit of corruption re the interest free loan is irrelevant its just like these folk who attack the Theory of Evolution in the stupid belief that if they destroy it that their beliefs become true, but sadly no, their burden of proof to prove their claim remains. Prove the Big Bang wrong is the same.. the burden of proof remains with those making their claim which of course is never met.

And you can find fault till the cows come home with your strawman big farmer but not one successful point from you relieves you from the need to prove your claim re your black stuff...or any of that stuff...really dont you think if it was any good big farmer would not have got control of it using their system of bribery, free loans what ever,...
I know it makes folk feel good to think they are more in control because they can call professionals irrelevant or of no use but it is so very foolish to deceive oneself that your lack of a degree trumps someone who has a degree and actually works in the area of medicine.

Thank you for your input Patrick and I am doing ok for an old man when you think about it...I am really happy and don't let the problem interfere with a thing..

I can see how these quacks work...find someone who finds out they are dying and as it can in someone of frail character when they become fearful of death these quacks present their product and driven by the fear of death they buy the product that offers hope that they themselves do generate...this fear of death allows folk to accept all sorts of crazy notions on an unsupported basis...well I don't fear death in the least..everyone is going to die..it's not as though I have been singled out as the only one who will die..I am perhaps the lucky one having reality placed in front of me and reaching a determination to face it and make the most of my life..I did that before so the additional ramp up was not difficult.
But it gets me that while folk search for hope they miss the opportunity of living because they are preoccupied with dieing and how to prevent it..or get a second go as if it were a video game...quacks rob folk of more than anyone can imagine.
As my signature says..you got one life you got to go for it...
