Excellent result Colin once again.

Folks, I caught up with him later that day and he was a wreck!
I saw all his of his luggage that he lugged up the hill and I couldn’t believe how heavy it was.
The backpack alone must have been 20kgs, I estimate the total weight at approx. 40kgs quite an amazing achievement. I also particularly liked the fireworks going off at second contact

Regards Mark

Thanks Mark. Guess we should have weighed it hey . Pity I couldn't make the IIS party. Just too damn buggered!

I've put up a still of the fireworks. I wonder if anyone has a similar shot from ground level?

Thanks Mike. If the forecast had been good on the coast I probably would have setup somewhere near you. I really wanted an ocean view after retreating inland for Ceduna. I scouted a couple of other spots near the Granite, but one was thwarted by a locked gate and another turned out to be an aboriginal sacred site.

Added a 3rd 180 fisheye image at 3rd contact. This horizon is a little light on this one...struggling a bit to process these out of the back of my Troopy.
