Geoff, I am trying to work out a way to stow away the Mary Rose in my carry-on luggage. Do you think it is possible?

Liz, thanks for the pics. Carcassonne has been described as the best preserved fortified medieval town in the world. I can't wait to see it in person. I hear that it looks particularly fantastic in the late afternoon as the setting sun casts shadows across the battlements. It looks like the weather was not fully co-operating when you visited? Still, and amazing sight!!

We had planned to get across to the Carcassonne area ourselves but..... anyway if we had we would have stayed here,

Ha Ha Ha (or is that Ho Ho Ho), Geoff!

Nev, my wife is enough reason for me to come home. 3.5 weeks away from her (and the kids) will be long enough! HOWEVER, if my wife and kids come with me next time, then maybe we will never come back!

Couple of pics.
Carcassone's very cool. SW food is awesome. Perpignan, Collioures and Port-vendres are some nice destination too. So much to see and so little time.
