I love looking at the Orion nebula through my stellarvue binoviewer on the 12" dob. It really brings the nebula to life and gives it a perceivable 3d quality. Plus the ease of viewing with two eyes allows you to concentrate on examining the detail rather than on squinting

In fact, almost anything benefits from viewing through a binoviewer imho, I'd recommend you guys try one - you'll be hooked The only drawback is that you have to have two eyepieces for any mag you want to use, so I just use the ones they came with which are great.
