Seems like some/most of you are very serious amateurs.
I bought, 'Astronomy 2006' $18.00
1 new Meade 5 mm 4000SP $30.00 (eBay).
That's all. Merry Christmas to all. L.

This thread is great, because I can show it to icemanswife and she'll realise my spending has been, well, contained

Not fair Mike, actually this thread is full bribary material, if my wife knew what I have done or spent (she isn't stupid either just keep quiet, you have to watch the quiet ones. LOL) I will be living in the doghouse for many years.

Come to think of it I forgot to add some books about the moon, the subscriptions to S&S, S&T, Australian S&T and astronomy

I can just imagine the wives of all the "good boys" carefully watching them next year if they are silly enough to show them this thread

No wife, hehehehehehe. They can be troublesome. Girlfriend and I are planning on buying a house together maybe late next year, so I need to get everything I need before then or else I will be hung drawn and quartered.

So for all you guys that have an other half to deal with. Haha

I just tell Cheryl what I would like to get, she says "do you need it?" and I say "Yes!" She then says "OK".

Where's the problem?

Mikey said to me that I would be shocked a some peoples 2005 expenses and his wouldn't seem bad. So I say to him, take a risk and list your expenses. I know that I have signed at the door for smaller boxes from the parcel man but he claims that they are eyepieces he is testing or borrowing. Are you up to the challenge honey??????

Update have now sold the wedge as well. Less 485, that makes it $11622.00 Less $22 for postage on the derotator and that makes it $11600.

Anyone want to buy the Meade? $4400 + freight.

You should see his pool table. It looks like he's opening the Brisvegas Bintel office off it.

The problem is, when she says "I need another pair of shoes", then you say "Do you really need another pair?" and she says "Yes...".

That's bad. Really really bad. Stop the practice now while you can Ken...
