You might wanna take a closer look at that pete. The filter is unmounted and glued into the nosepiece.

I had best results with a t-thread -> 2" nosepiece with an i/r filter on the end of that. Problem there is the i/r filter is mounted and leaks air so you get frosting problems eventually. I was going to epoxy the filter into it's mount to seal it but sold the camera before I tried it.

Yeah. I'll have to think that through a but more. A problem is that I am using an OAG and would prefer to stay with it. The filter on the T-Piece Nose is fine but it pushes the camera way back from the OAG and that creates it's own problems then with focus on the guidecam. So it'll take some juggling.
Did you just buy a Baader 2" UV/IR filter or what?

I have a 2" astronomiks uv/ir that I used but baader is better
