Nie repro jjj. Yeah my vote goes to heat as well. I'm surpirsed you guys are imaging with the heat wave we've been getting.

It's as clear as a bell out there right now, I'd love to set up, but the temp right now @ 6.45pm is still 36 degrees in the house.
I'll be just asking for trouble.

That's exactly why I recommend using ISO 400 and take plenty of darks.
Going above that is asking for trouble especially when it's hot.
If you take a few hours worth of lights you can overcome most of the noise.
