Rajah, the hall is painted that colour. Thanks. Jonathan I like your shot. Very interesting perspective. You have given me some inspiration for a study I want to do.

Thanks Paul. I used a camera with a 35mm lens & 35mm film. What sort of study have you been inspired to do?

Firstly, great challenge idea Ken!!!!

Secondly, what a brilliant bunch of artistic old buggas you guys are! I mean it, they are great photos!!!

I really like this off shoot thread

I was thinking of taking a picture of a star or a planet titled "A long time ago in a galaxy far far away", but there is this forum called ice in space and if they get this same idea, the planet masters over there will submit shots better than mine.

Actually "A long time ago in a galaxy far far away" would make a opening sequence / great start to a movie. I could make it about good and evil and flying space ships and robots. Actually Chris venter's head shot in his avatar looks like an evil character I could use.........hmmmmmm

Jonathan, I was thinking of doing a study of internal images inside a train at night or going through a tunnel. Need to think a lot more about what I want to do though.

I like how you blended the sepia and the colour to highlight the track.
Good idea Rob.

Venus, lovely pic. Right time + right place = excellent result.
Mark, nice shot. I tried to get close to the base of the 'stack', but their fence stopped me + sun in wrong place.
Rob, nicely done. Great result. L.

Thanks RAJAH235, you're right about the time + place thing and "weather" comes into play as well:-)
I picked 1. "The hallway"
2. "The Stack"
3. "The Long Cloud"
