My 31mm t5 produces a 6.8mm exit pupil in my scope. So I'd say it would
be getting close for me at 42yrs. I've been having some visits with the
optometrist lately due to being diagnosed with PDS. On my next visit I'll see
if she can measure them. But I suppose this would be better done after
you dark adapt.

I'll go have a read of the link you posted. But I do know what your
saying and been prevy to discussions on it.

Still maybe why I prefer my 20mm t5/4.4mm slightly over my 31mm t5/6.8mm.

a 31mm t5 wouldn't fit.

I generally use either a 12mm or 9mm U/O HD Ortho. But my fav EP
is a 10mm XW.

I've finilly finished my new AN stalk, ready to send to Gary. Today I'm
going to pull the 16" out and work on fine tuning the balance. Both jobs

Ah, that's what it is DUHHH!!!

I only looked through something like that once, well over 10 years ago. The chap who owned the cafe on Cliff Drive, Katoomba was a solar fanatic. My God, the gear he had - full aperture filters, high-end refractors, the works. We only went in for a coffee and ended up spending 3 hours there observing the sun. It was unreal!! Solar work has always scared me a bit, imagining smoke coming out of my eyeballs!!

Too expensive , even with a high AUD.

I'll never be able to justify spending that kind of money on any individual eyepiece.

I tried that one about a 17mm Nagler. Worked for a while. One can buy something so quickly on the net....

It's annoying Peter. Our lawn is down to bare dirt in places, even the nut grass is dead.

The storms gather, look mean, warnings go out from BOM and as soon as they go much further north than Grafton, they wither. Had some cloud and light rain today but nothing outstanding. I'm glad we missed the storm late last night that was headed for Grafton, that sucker was black in the middle. General district rain is what we need.

Gee Kerrie I thought hard about an Ethos, but, as Les reminded me, you can get 2 Naglers for about the price of one Ethos.
