I used to drink with one of the Time Team guys when I lived in the UK. Mate, he could put a few away!

Hi
I dug a hole in my backyard recently to plant a tree. I came across all sorts of interesting "finds" down at the 400mm level. Got quiet excited until I realised it was building rubbish circa 1963 when my house was built. I wonder what archaeologists will make of it a few hundred years hence!
Cheers Peter

If you worked it out why shouldn't they? Identifying rubbish dumps, reuse of old materials, buildings on top of older buildings etc is par for the course for an archaeologist. They aren't as gullable as some believe.

I am totally addicted to the show, and they've had some great shows over the years. The fake site in Cornwall was brilliant.

However, I felt season 16 was getting a bit tired. Also, they've lost Bridg and Raysan who moved back to NZ.

What season are they showing on ABC2?

They just completed Season 12 (2005), so I hope ABC2 will continue through to the next seasons.

I record all of them to DVD and use the Wikipedia entries for information as well as the Channel 4 website.
