The detail is impressive to say the least. it makes me want to head back outside to try and get some better shots... guess my 3 1/2" and cybershot arn't up to these standards. Not by a long shot... I'll still keep trying though. You have inspired me once again.

Pleasure

Hi Chris

You have no idea how much pleasure it gives me to see that image. Terrific shot and it certainly vindicates the high praise heaped on these scopes - well done.

Thanks Lars - for the kind comment AND the scope. It's everything I hoped it would be - it's going to be great as a visual instrument too. I'm looking at hooking up with Guy and Zane on the 17th at Magellan, and we'll compare MT notes and try for some serious CCD time. Weather permitting...

I've now got to consider a side by side arrangement, as the top of the MT ring isn't really suitable to mount the FS60-C guide scope on. I'll try for a side by side with the complete FS-102/60-C pakage on the G11. I hope it's not too much weight....

Anyhow - thanks again Lars. Ripper scope

You'll need an Paramount ME to carry all those scopes and then you could buy a RCOS and then of course you will need a SBIG STL and then..... be afraid - be very afraid

Chris,

When you get the rig together you'll have to post a pic. I think it will be a big pic.

That's an awesome image Chris - very sharp with a ton of detail!

I love the scope too, truly a precision instrument with a funky paint job.

Cheers

Wow Chris that's impressive. The optics on the MT sure provided a sharp detailed image

Thanks Rob & Doug

Doug - Just three - the MT-160, FS-102 and FS60-C. The FSQ-106 is next on the list....

That's a really nice fist light Chris, I wish I still had my DSLR to get some instant results from my new tak. I'm spending hours coming to grips with new bloody cameras instead I guess it has been raining for 6 months though
