Had a first light last night with my new 24mm panoptic + Lumicon UHC combo.

I love wide field views from dark skies and had my best ever views of eta carina and the lagoon

My camera is unmodified, I do wish I had the filter removed, imagine how much more red nebulae I could record.
I too got to see Eta Carina with the Lumicon UHC, some years ago now, of all places atop Siding Springs Mtn, (we knew an astronomer there). I put my 16mm nagler and UHC filter in his 12 inch dob and wow the dust lanes were jet black.
