Here's a couple more weather piccies for you from this morning. First one is from Modis and shows the Qld coast down to about Wide bay the second is from NOAA. The red colours in the NOAA is of course preciptiation. Someone is really copping it.

There'll be no AFL or cricket played on this today!!!

The boundary line at Manuka Oval looking particularly soggy underfoot

We're now up to 34mm for the day. It's all good

Been hovering around 4 degrees here all day

You had some snow yet this winter, Terry?

It gets really cold up there in the New England area, doesn't it.

There has been a little bit of snow but not at my house (which is at 1100m alt). We had a light dusting of sleet last week just enough to see on my verandah but not enough to photograph. Maybe tomorrow.

Hi Matt, I see the Monaro Hwy was blocked with snow for a while today as well.
A bit too wet for the motorbike today, had to fire up the Ute this morning.

Cheers

We also have too much rain,
now in midsummer yet,
so much that the cherries and the strawberrries molder....

Our pool has gone up 35mm in 24 hours, and apparently our dams had 35mm too, which gives us an extra 1 or 2 days water supply in SE Qld.

On the theme of 35mm, I also have a few 35mm cameras and a 35mm wide angle lens. I was also 35 once; although that was years, not mm – but not 35 years ago.

Cheers

Dennis

You are not wrong there. Maybe Astrofest needs to run for 35 days to make up for it
